One of the most eagerly awaited tours in years, Depeche Mode have finally announced the North American dates for this world tour, supporting their upcoming new studio album, Delta Machine, due March 22nd. Depeche Mode are kicking off the tour with dates in Europe and the UK, which were announced some time ago. Peter Murphy has announced a new tour for 2013 in which he will play all Bauhaus material, in celebration of the 35 years since the founding of his former band. King of The Blues. The Beale Street Blues Boy. Legend. Not much to say about having an opportunity to see B.B. King live in concert other than that it is an honor. A very special venue – Golden State Theatre in Monterey, California – served as the perfect host to an amazing night with one of the most important musicians in our lifetimes, at age 87, as well as a phenomenal opening set from an incredibly gifted 12 year old.
Icelandic indie folk/pop group Of Monsters and Men have today added some more North American concert dates to their previously announced headlining shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and at The Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Pioneering alternative band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will set out next month on a world tour covering North America, the UK, and Europe. In addition, their 15th studio album, Push the Sky Away, is due February 19th, and they will be holding a special concert at Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles with a YouTube webcast on the 21st. French alternative rock band Phoenix will be returning to the United States for the first time in two years to make an appearances as one of the headlining artists at Coachella, as well as headline their own gigs outside of the annual Indio festival. Their fifth studio album, Bankrupt!, is due in the Spring as well through Glassnote Records. Following these dates, they will embark on a world tour headlining additional festivals in Europe.
Marina & the Diamonds will be touring the United States this May, in support of her critically acclaimed 2012 sophomore album, Electra Heart.
