New Order Returns to North America in July with “Summerfest” Appearance & Small Tour; La Roux Joins in California Concerts

New Wave and electronic music pioneers New Order will be returning to the United States next month for a limited number of special performances, one festival appearance, and one show in British Columbia.  La Roux – with new album Trouble in Paradise due July 7 – will be supporting at the two California shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles.  New Order are also working on new music, and debuted one of those new songs, “Singlularity“, at their appearance at Lollapolooza Brazil back in March. Veruca Salt Reunites with New Music and Concert Tour

A recently reunited Veruca Salt (with the original line-up) has made a splash with new music, releasing “The Museum of Broken Relationships” and “It’s Holy” on Record Store Day this year (which included their biggest hit, “Seether”, as a B-side and in celebration of it’s 20th anniversary.  They did their first live performance in 18 years on Conan a few weeks ago, sounding as fresh as ever, and you can watch their new music video on YouTube as well.  In addition, this month they will be embarking on a tour of the U.S. and Australia. Luscious Jackson will be playing just a handful of shows this year, kicking off with three of their own headlining shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston… and then onto Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle and and Summer’s End in Tempe.  Jill Cunniff, Gabby Glaser, and Kate Schellenbach completed their Magic Hour late last year after success in funding it via PledgeMusic; it is their first full studio album since 1999.
